This workshop featured three panel discussions with experts which addressed the following objectives and questions:
Objectives:
1. To construct a target for the next 10 years (Vision 2020) of how
remotely sensed data can be used in pre-, during, and post-disaster
scenarios.
2. To identify ways to realize currently unrealized potential of remotely sensed data.
Questions:1. What is the Vision 2020 for remote sensing data use in disasters in 10 years from now?
2. What are the impediments to achieving Vision 2020?
3. What are some ideas for overcoming those impediments?
