Breakout Discussions
Over the course of the Leadership Summit, attendees will participate in 4
separate breakout discussions: one on Tuesday afternoon, two on Wednesday
afternoon, and one on Thursday morning. The topics and questions for each
breakout session to consider are explained in the document on breakout sessions.
Participant List
Over 300 individuals are registered to participate in the Leadership
Summit. The full list of registered participants, sorted according to
their institutional affiliation is available by downloading the participant list.
Poster Abstracts
Nearly 20 abstracts were submitted for the poster session and reecption
that will occur on the first evening of the meeting. The abstracts are
available by downloading the poster
abstracts.
Speaker Biographies
More than 25 experts will be speaking at the summit in plenary or
concurrent sessions. For biographical information about these speakers,
please download the speaker biographies.
Speaker Presentations
Copies of PowerPoint files or any other materials presented by speakers
will be made available as soon as possible by links from the summit agenda. Most files will be available as
PDF documents.
Webcast Information
The plenary sessions of the meeting on October 3-4 will be available via a
live audio webcast. Instructions on how to access the webcast will be
availble at http://www.nationalacademies.org/
while the webcast is live. The webcast audience may also submit comments
and questions in real time. This will allow remote listeners to
participate from their own offices and classrooms.
