The Standing Committee on Risk Analysis Issues and Reviews will plan and conduct a series of public workshops that will serve as a venue for discussion of issues critical to the development and review of objective, realistic, and scientifically based human health risk analyses for selected environmental contaminants. Workshop participants will include members of government, industry, environmental groups, and the academic community who will be invited by the committee to discuss key scientific issues relevant to analyzing the human health risks of specific contaminants. The committee, in consultation with the sponsor, will select the specific scientific issues and contaminants that will be discussed at the workshops.
