The National Academies and the Human Embryonic Stem Cell Research Advisory
Committee have created a listserv to facilitate discussions among those
involved in the oversight of human embryonic stem cell research.
The listserv is geared to members and staff of
Embryonic Stem Cell Research
Oversight (ESCRO) and Stem Cell Research Oversight (SCRO) committees as well
as interested members and staff of related committees, such as Institutional
Review Boards (IRBs), Institutional Animal Care and Use Committees (IACUCs), and
Institutional Biosafety Committees (IBCs). Other relevant institutional staff,
such as those involved in research oversight and administration, regulatory
affairs and offices of general counsel are also invited to participate.
Those wishing to subscribe should send the following information to
stemcells@nas.edu:
- Name
- Institution or Affiliation
- Title or Position
- Role in stem cell research oversight (e.g., member or staff of
ESCRO committee, IRB, IACUC, IBC; research administration; regulatory affairs;
general counsel; etc.)
- E-mail address
