At a time when responding to our changing climate is one of the nation's most complex endeavors, reports from the National Academies provide thoughtful analysis and helpful direction to policymakers and stakeholders.

Understanding and Responding to Climate Change This booklet presents recommendations from the National Academies' many expert reports on climate change in an easy-to-read format. Now in its third edition (2008), the booklet includes an expanded section on impacts and updated figures and graphics.



About This Product

Understanding and Responding to Climate Change was developed by the National Academies based on reports produced by committees organized by the Board on Atmospheric Sciences and Climate and other entities within the National Academies. The booklet was created with support from the Presidents Circle Communicaitons Initiative of the National Academies.
