Erratum

It has been brought to the attention of the Journal that a correction is necessary in one article (Dell et al. 2002) in the issue devoted to Experimental Design and Statistics in Biomedical Research. On page 210, on the top line of the right column, the correct text (in bold type below) follows:

". . . where 1-β is the chosen power (usually 0.90 to 0.95), thus β would be 0.10 or 0.05, and p represents the proportion of the animals in the colony that are not infected."

The authors and the Journal regret the error.
