Joanne Zurlo, PhD, is Director of the Institute for Laboratory Animal Research (ILAR) at the National Academies in Washington DC. Kathryn Bayne, PhD, DVM, is Global Director of the Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care International in Frederick, Maryland. Judy MacArthur Clark, DVMS, is Chief Inspector of the Animals Scientific Procedures Inspectorate at the Home Office in London. Drs. Bayne and MacArthur Clark are members of the ILAR Council.
